Welcome to the Albuquerque Lodge Website!

The Albuquerque Lodge congratulates President Barack Hussein Obama Jr. on his inauguration as the 44th President of the United States of America. On January 20th, 2009.

This is the 4707 year of the Chinese Calendar.  It is also considered an Earth Ox year of the Chinese Zodiac.  It corresponds to these dates in the western calendar: January 26th, 2009 through February 13th, 2010. Oxen place great emphasis on authority and tradition. Therefore, 2009 will lay an especially heavy burden on world leaders. Government officials, CEOs and community organizers will be expected to correct society's ills. If they slack off, they'll be thrown by the wayside. Substance is always favored over style in the Year of the Ox.

Our Bi-Annual Convention this year will be held in east San Gabriel Valley.  For members wishing to attend, please see the Greater San Gabriel lodge's Website

Since our Organization encouraged members to vote, support and work for the political party and candidates of their choice, and to actively participate and enjoy the privilege of citizenship, we are now seeing the fruition of such labor. Please check out this article entitled "Asian-American political profile rising in US" brought to our attention by ABQ Lodge VP John Chow.

Thursday February 26th, 2009 At the Capitol in Santa Fe, will be Asian Youth Acknowledgement.  We will be recognizing those special Asian Young people who've made contributions to our community.  Also, Senator Keller is going to introduce a bill for the Asian Community Center that we've been slowly working on.  Some of our members are going up to the Capitol on the 26th to show our support.  More Info to follow.

Chinese New Year Celebration

The Chinese Cultural Center provided a joyful experience in sharing Heritage, Traditions and Customs on Saturday January 31st at their location on Adams.  Many of our members attended and were grateful that the weather cooperated.  It was a beautiful day! Charles and Synthia Lin really presented a wonderful venue to see both the art and culture that have been apart of the Lunar New Year Celebration for thousands of years.— Chinese Culture Center
